How to use it

  1. Choose a country and record count.
  2. Generate and inspect the formatted test accounts.
  3. Use them only in form validation and fixture tests.

Separate format testing from payment testing

An IBAN combines a country code, check digits and a country specific account string. These fixtures have the expected country length and a valid mod 97 checksum. Belgian, Spanish and French fixtures also include their national account check digits. US records have a nine digit routing number with an ABA checksum and a separate account number. Each account in one batch is distinct.

Checksums detect common typing mistakes; they do not prove that a bank or account exists. These fixtures do not claim real issuers and are not official payment sandbox credentials. Use them for parsers, input masks and API fixtures. Use your payment provider’s documented sandbox accounts when testing transfers or account verification.

Limits & privacy

Up to 50 unique accounts. IBAN length and mod 97 checksums are valid, including national check digits for Belgium, Spain and France; US routing numbers pass the ABA checksum. These are fake test data, not real bank accounts, routing assignments or payment sandbox credentials. Bank assignments, bank specific account checks and account existence are not checked.
