About Timezone converter

Convert a local or offset date and time between IANA timezones with explicit daylight saving handling.

When to use it

Resolve a scheduled job time across regions without guessing daylight saving offsets.

Timezone converter example
2026-11-03T10:30:00 in New York → 21:00 in Kolkata

How to use it

  1. Enter an ISO date and time, optionally with an offset.
  2. Choose source and destination IANA timezones.
  3. Inspect both local times, UTC and the exact Unix timestamp.

Make daylight saving choices explicit

An offset timestamp identifies one instant. If a timezone annotation conflicts with that offset, the input is rejected. A local timestamp needs a source IANA timezone such as America/New_York, and the converter then shows the same instant in the destination zone and UTC. Unix seconds and milliseconds make the result usable in API payloads and schedulers.

Daylight saving can make a local time occur twice or not occur at all. The default rejects both cases so an agent cannot silently choose the wrong instant. Select earlier or later only when you intend that interpretation. Timezone rules come from the runtime and may change when governments update their calendars.

Limits & privacy

ISO date and time up to 128 characters. Offset timestamps define their own instant. A timezone annotation must agree with its offset or the input is rejected. Local timestamps use the source timezone; daylight saving gaps and repeated times are rejected unless you explicitly choose earlier or later. Timezone data follows the runtime.
