About Webhook inbox

A webhook inbox gives callbacks a temporary destination while you build an integration. Inspect the original body, headers, query parameters, and arrival time without maintaining a receiver.

When to use it

Inspect a sandbox payment callback or check what a form sends before building a receiver.

Webhook inbox example
POST your inbox endpoint
Content-Type: application/json

{"event":"order.created","id":"test-001"}

How to use it

  1. Create an inbox and copy its endpoint.
  2. Send a request from your application or terminal.
  3. Select the request to inspect or export its contents.

Limits & privacy

Anonymous inboxes last one hour and hold up to 100 requests. Accounts receive the limits shown on the plans page. Each body is limited to 100 KiB. Choose public or private receiver access. Private senders use the X-Access-Token header; inspection uses a separate credential. Sensitive headers are redacted.

Use this tool from the API reference or connect through the SDK, CLI, SSH, or MCP. Hosted calls share your plan allowances.
