About HTTP status simulator

Return a chosen HTTP status from a temporary endpoint. Exercise success, validation, authorization, and server-error handling with predictable fixtures.

When to use it

Verify that error messages and retry controls appear for unsuccessful API responses.

HTTP status simulator example
Route: GET /unavailable
Status: 503
Body: {"error":"Try again later"}

How to use it

  1. Set an API name and configure your routes.
  2. Create the endpoint and copy its base URL.
  3. Append a route path and send requests from your application.

Limits & privacy

Mock APIs start with a one-hour lifetime; renewal stays within plan limits. Configure up to 20 routes within 80 KiB, delays up to 2 seconds, and 120 requests per minute. Anonymous management requires the private management token; account-owned APIs use workspace access.

Use this tool from the API reference or connect through the SDK, CLI, SSH, or MCP. Hosted calls share your plan allowances.
